Lost in the Kandarian desert, INDIANA JONES accidentally summons THE EVIL DEAD with the Necronomicon setting the stage for some supernatural surprises in a "HELLRAISER" of a crossover fan film adventure.
This short is the first of three fan films in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The Evil Dead. Each movie is just over 8 minutes to cram maximum entertainment into minimal time.
Made for no money, and shot during the pandemic with a cast/crew of two people, this Indiana Jones Fan film allowed us to try new techniques and special effects we'd been wanting to attempt for a while (many of which go back to the silent era of movie making). Action, adventure, stunts, puppetry, and DIY fun. We've been fans of Indiana Jones and Evil Dead since the beginning, and this little movie is for the kid inside...and anyone else who has wondered: What if Indiana Jones found the Book of the Dead?

Filmed on location with the trusty, beat up Canon 7D and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
