PREMIERE // Anima Films releases 'Nightmare on Elm Street' Fan Film 'In Dreams'

In the Nightmare on Elm Street fan film “In Dreams” we met Cheyenne, an American teenager who suffers from sleepwalking. Soon though she’ll come face to face with the infamous Springwood Slasher himself, Freddy Krueger.

The fan film is an independent Italian production written by Silvio Marotta and directed by Cristian Tomassini for the Anima Film Srl production company. “In Dreams” is clearly a love letter to the horror films of the 80’s. Director Tomassini interjects, “we wanted to pay homage to an era of sensational horror films, full of ideas and energy and with a visual content that has dictated the stylistic features of the genre for decades to come”.
